TRANS-KATA: Journal of Language, Literature, Culture and Education is a peer-reviewed international journal published by Transbahasa. Trans-Kata aims to bring together research and academic works from the fields of arts and humanities especially in the areas of language, literature, culture and education. The journal is published biannually (May and November). 

Submissions to Trans-Kata are carefully evaluated to ensure they meet the high standards of scientific rigor and originality that the journal upholds. Articles are expected to contribute new insights into language education, translation studies, applied linguistics, multilingual and multicultural education, literary scholarship and literary education, as well as cultural education and cultural studies. This rigorous review process ensures that each publication within the journal represents a meaningful contribution to these fields, offering researchers and practitioners valuable resources for expanding their knowledge and applications. Ultimately, Trans-Kata aims to be a key source of inspiration and information for scholars and academics working in these interdisciplinary areas.

The language of publication is English, although the articles may focus on any pair of languages.
