About TRANS-KATA

TRANS-KATA: Journal of Language, Literature, Culture and Education is a peer-reviewed international journal published by Transbahasa. The journal focuses primarily on language and linguistics and their relationships with literature, culture, education, society, and communication. TRANS-KATA provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, educators, and language professionals to engage with contemporary theoretical, empirical, methodological, and interdisciplinary research in language-related studies.

The journal welcomes original research in areas including applied linguistics, language education, translation and interpreting studies, multilingualism and multiculturalism, language and literature, language and culture, and interdisciplinary language studies. Submissions should demonstrate a clear and substantive connection to language or linguistics and contribute to scholarly discussions at local, regional, and international levels.

TRANS-KATA is published semiannually in May and November. The journal follows a double blind peer-review process to ensure the academic quality and scholarly integrity of published contributions. TRANS-KATA is nationally accredited at SINTA 3 level by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

The language of publication is English, although articles may focus on any language or language pair.
